Jarratt Watkins

Jarratt Watkins is a shareholder with Winstead PC, where his practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, private offerings, and other corporate matters. He has worked on behalf of clients in a broad range of industries, including investment advisory services, manufacturing, aerospace, technology, retail goods, energy and entertainment.

During the COVID 19 pandemic, Jarratt served as the Director of Fort Worth Now, an initiative formed by then-Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price to identify economic development opportunities to help Fort Worth recover from the pandemic. In early 2023, Fort Worth Now became the Fort Worth – Tarrant County Innovation Partnership and is focusing its mission on facilitating the development of Texas A&M Fort Worth and the areas surrounding the project in downtown Fort Worth. Jarratt continues to serve as counsel an officer of FWTCIP.

At SMU Dedman School of Law, Jarratt was a Sumners Scholar, served on SMU Law Review, and tutored first year students in Constitutional Law. He volunteers for the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, served on the Advisory Council for the Fort Worth Chapter of Stewards of the Wild, and sits on the board of Downtown Fort Worth Inc. He and his wife Hannah have their hands full chasing after their two young boys.
